About Mi'kmaq Heritage Actors
Our Story
Founded in 2011 by a group of passionate actors, singers, dancers and drummers, the Mi'kmaq Heritage Actors has since become the only Indigenous Theatre group in the Atlantic. Our mission is to showcase our Mi'kmaq history, culture, language, stories with pride.
Our Achievements
Over the years, Mi'kmaq Heritage Actors has won numerous awards and accolades for our performances. We have also had the privilege of performing all over the Atlantic region, to Toronto, and to Dieppe France.
